We have been so busy keeping up with the business at The Pony Bar that I completely forgot we had a blog to run!
Both Dan and I are thrilled at the response to our American Craft Beer bar. It has been an overwhelming success. We will continue to work our butts off to keep bringing you the very best the American Craft Beer movement has to offer.
There are so many people to thank. From the local community boards who supported our liquor license application to the contractors, graphic designers, and suppliers that helped us turn our ideas into reality, we simply could not have done it without any of you!
Most importantly, we must thank our many devoted patrons. From the experienced 'beer geeks' we are meeting, to the 'newbies' who are just getting into craft beer thing, we can't say enough to thank you for your support.
As many of you know, there is a lot going on at The Pony. Our first brewery tour to Sixpoints in Brooklyn was a huge success. (There is something endearing and nostalgic about heading to Brooklyn on a yellow school bus for a brewery tour)! Our next tour is to Captain Lawrence Brewery in Pleasantville, NY on July 12th. We also have three incredible brewery nights coming up. The owner of Dogfish Head will be coming up, Left Hand Brewery will have a night and a number of other craft brewers will be doing product launches from The Pony.
Please check our web site for details, follow us on twitter and sign up for our email blasts. Its the only way to keep up with it all.
And of course check in on this blog. Its here where you'll get all the juicy details between Carl and Coffee Chris in their heated battle to become the first Pony All-Americans! More on that later................
